Hello, I am Michael Raymond. I am an independent multi-disciplined artist based in Brooklyn, upstae NY and Miami FL. The body of works found here is named after me, Michael Raymond Pereira, I’ve been Playing and EXPERIMENTING with various form of fashion from the moment I could stand. I am a second generation Jeweler taught by my ECCENTRICALLY one of a kind father, Raymond Pereira.
In addition to jewelry design I have been making clothing and accessories since childhood learning to sew on my Grandmothers machine at age 5.
Michael Raymond was launched in 2013 with a focus on creating one of a kind statement Jewelry and clothing with extreme attention to details of construction and materials. Each piece is handmade by Michael Raymond from start to finish..
EVErything I make is a one off. If you see something you like. Get it. I may never make it again.
I don’t have people mass produce mutiples of my work for resale.
Because materials determine how a particular piece is constructed, I obsese over them, right down to the type of thread i use and the needle that stitches it.
Keep in mind the materials i’ve used in the making of these pieces may no loger be available. That Said, I may not be able to reproduce that piece the way it is pictured here on my site. If a piece you’re interested in says that it has been sold, please feel free to email me. theres a possibility I may be able to make one specifically for you using the same, alternate materials or further customization.
I make things other than clothing and jewelry so please be prepared for a wait list. It is very possible I may be working on a clothing, Jewelry, music or some other rando project that is currently requiring my full attention. Should we move forward on you’re new piece and a deposit is on an ordered piece, feel confident that i will focus my attention on that piece in the order that I have scheduled it.
