Michael Raymond stared by me making things for myself that I couldn’t get. I would see something I liked in a store and think that’s cool except I would change this and this. So I started to make my own jewelry and clothing and accessories just the way I wanted them. Some of my earliest memories are experimenting at my fathers jewelry bench or on my my mothers sewing machine. As I got older and my skills inevitably developed , I started to come up with ideas for different necklaces, rings and bracelets pants, shorts, shirts and jackets that I wanted to wear. Anything I wanted I would give it my best to make. I figured anything I made would be better than anything I could buy. After all, I could choose the best materials and take my time to do it just the way I wanted. Over the years of experiments and trial and errors I have come up with details and techniques I still use in the construction of my work even today. For years I have worn a lot of some of the pieces that I first designed. I have made many of these for family and friends. Some pieces you see here are Brand new, some are prototypes and some have been test run but are just starting to get broken in and are ready to take on the life of their new owner. This is the soul of the PERSONAL COLLECTION.
